Raise funds to help Australians living with dementia

Dementia is a major cause of illness in Australia, with over 400,000 Australians living with dementia. Although it predominantly affects people in old age, it can also be found in younger people.

Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia, accounting for about two-thirds of people diagnosed. It affects thinking, behaviour and the ability to perform everyday tasks, meaning sufferers depend on carers or friends and family for support, often moving into care facilities as the disease progresses.

We need your help to raise essential funds for dementia charities, such as Dementia Australia, to continue to provide support and counselling for families and carers, provide educational resources and conduct research to better understand, and hopefully, one day prevent the disease.
